Lovers of Roulette can give American Roulette a trial today. However, it is different from the European styled French Roulette for the following reasons. First, it has an additional double zero, which in theory will lower your odds of winning and second, the heel is divided into 38 segments whilst the French Roulette has 37 segments.
It is important that before you choose a roulette variant, you should have an understanding of the slight differences in the gameplay. When you load up American Roulette, a screen is displayed, and you have your betting table located below a slowly rotating wheel.
The frequently occurring outcomes are displayed by both ‘Hot’ and ‘Cold’ numbers that are listed on the right side of the rotating wheel. You can bet on every Hot or Cold number listed when you click on any of the two titles.
To start betting, you have to select a chip with a value ranging between £1.00 and £500.00, although the highest bet value you can make when selecting the chips is £10,000. You have the choice of deciding which type of bet to make, and this could include betting on a single number, betting on two numbers at the same time, betting on odds or evens and betting on black or red.
American Roulette also allows you to place more complicated bets when you click on the ‘Open Racetrack’ icon, which is on the left side of the chips. When you open the racetrack, you can place a bet on two numbers located on either side of your selected number, for an overall total of five.
American Roulette does not have as many complex neighbour bets as seen in the French roulette variant, and playing the American version is simpler, than when compared to the French one. As soon as you have placed your bet, all you need to do is to click on a green button, that’s located on the lower right-hand side of the screen.
Once the green button is clicked, the ball will start moving on the wheel. This is when you should keep your fingers crossed, in the hope that the ball lands on any one of your selected numbers. Your initial bets can be repeated, or you can place new bets if you prefer.
While American Roulette may be a simpler version of an online roulette, the European variant has a better RTP. With the American version, you get an RTP of 94.74%, while the European version provides an RTP of 97.30%.
