Scruffy Duck

If you are expecting to see well-cooked and sautéed ducks bursting with juices in the Scruffy Duck slots, you are going to walk away very disappointed. Rather, this slot is set in a small pond in a bucolic countryside where the air is always clear, the shiniest and the nearby surroundings teeming with game.

In the pond, there will be a flock of ducks, with each having their own quirky personalities and characteristics. Among these charming fellas is Scruffy Duck himself. This duck character kind of grows on you and can be pretty interesting.

The slot is made by NetEnt and like all products by the gaming giant you get what you expect- which are loads of quality fun, interesting storyline, and cleverly entertaining features.

Scruffy Duck Tastes As Sweet As It Looks

This slot sports five reels and three rows, in addition to a total of twenty-five fixed paylines. The reels rest on a cute background of a serene pond, with varied aquatic flora and fauna in evidence.

The main value symbols come ably represented by a total of four ducks with defining characteristics and equipment. One has a mobile phone, another has a gift, yet another is showing off a lollipop, while the last is all gangster in a baseball cap. The lower value symbols comprise the usual J, Q, K, and A.

A cheeky swan is the beautiful wild symbol. When necessary it will expand to fill up any vacant position on the reels. As well, during winning combos it will take the place of all other game symbols. That is, all except for the free spins icon.

Don’t Duck the Bonus

Free Spins- this feature is activated when players land three and up free spins icons anywhere on reel three to five. Depending on the game modes, players will get awarded the following bonuses:

• Multiplier – This gifts player 15 free spins. Along with a 3x multiplier that is slapped on all wins.
• Symbol Removal – This gifts player 12 free spins that are applied on a reel set with high-value symbols.
• Colossal Wild – This gifts player 10 free spins. In addition to the possibility to a potential 2×2 or a 3×3 wild icon popping up on reels two, three and four.
• Random Wilds – This gifts player with 8 free spins. As well as from two to five wilds being slapped onto the reels once the spin is at an end.
• Double Feature – This gifts player with 6 free spins. Along with a randomly chosen duo of the above-listed bonuses.

The free spin round cannot, however, be re-activated from within the round.

Final Thoughts

Unsurprisingly Scruffy Duck yet again validates NetEnt’s rep as a high-quality slot maker. The RTP is pegged at 96.38%, while the bonuses are above average. All-in-all, Scruffy Duck is a quack-filled lovable cutie you would do well to befriend.
